For all of you Amigoids out there here is the absolutely definitive classic
demo for the Amiga, reproduced for the HP48 (you can probably guess what it
is). It was written by Chuck Hacala and I over the course of about eight
hours using the animation features of DPAINT III on the Amiga to create
multiple (about 25) brushes for the animation frames. These were each
converted to grobs and transferred along with a simple routine to show them
in ping-pong fashion.
This program is large (about 30K!) and an incredible hack, but it had to be
done so we did it and got it over with. It does illustrate, however, the
speed of the REPL command in animating a complex demo. Hope you all enjoy
it!
